Jupiter Lighting was established in Damascus, Syria by Engineer Ghassan Khadro. The company began as a workshop specializing in customized lighting solutions.

Jupiter Made-Well began as a Milanese metal workshop — brass reflectors turned by hand, sold to neighbours who wanted light that felt like candlelight. Nearly fifty years later, the bench is still in the family.

From Damascus workshop
to regional leader.
Founded in 1996 by Engineer Ghassan Khadro in Damascus, Syria, Jupiter Lighting began as a workshop dedicated to customized lighting solutions. What started as a small operation has grown into a leading provider of advanced lighting and renewable energy technologies.
Over the decades, our commitment to innovation and quality has transformed us from a local workshop to an international company. From pioneering lighting projects for prestigious clients including the 4-Star Blue Tower Hotel and collaborations with the French Embassy in Syria, to establishing a full-scale manufacturing presence in Zhongshan, China.
Today, Jupiter Lighting's solar and LED solutions illuminate homes, businesses, and public spaces across the Middle East, driving the transition to clean, energy-efficient technologies. Our journey has been marked by strategic growth, technological advancement, and an unwavering focus on sustainability.

Project design
Project Design Services Introduced
Jupiter Lighting expanded its capabilities to include full-scale lighting project design. Notable early projects included the 4-Star Blue Tower Hotel in Damascus and two collaborations with the French Embassy in Syria.
Manufacturing
Manufacturing Facility Established in China
To stay at the forefront of lighting technology, Jupiter Lighting established a manufacturing facility in Zhongshan, China, initially focusing on the production of LED lighting products.
